About the event

On the occasion of the decree harmonising the provisions governing France's Early Access and Compassionate Use programmes, and following the publication of the updated HAS guidance, Anne Servoir, Partner at Eversheds Sutherland, together with Biodimed Conseil, is pleased to invite you to a breakfast roundtable discussion on Thursday, 19 November 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at our Paris office.

Early Access: A Reform Put to the Test

Designed to accelerate patients' access to innovative therapies while strengthening the regulatory framework applicable to these products, the Early Access scheme has now entered a phase of maturity.

The recent developments introduced by the Decree of 3 June 2026 and the updated HAS guidance provide an opportunity to reflect on the lessons learned from its implementation and the practical implications for companies operating in the life sciences sector.

What insights can pharmaceutical companies and healthcare stakeholders draw from the first decisions issued under this framework?

During this breakfast session, our speakers will review the first five years of the scheme, analyse how recent legal and methodological developments are shaping market access strategies, and discuss key considerations and potential pitfalls for future Early Access applications.
