About this study
This global study explores strategic M&A, revealing the next drivers of competitive advantage. Opinion research was conducted in early 2022 among 1,200 senior business leaders across the world. Respondents were based in the US, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Ireland, UAE, Qatar, China, Hong Kong, Japan, India, South Korea and Singapore.
A wide range of sectors were also covered within the research, including financial services, professional services, industrials, TMT, energy, consumer and life sciences.
A supplementary piece of research was conducted in April 2022 among 75 business leaders from the same markets and sectors to provide insights on how the ongoing war in Ukraine is impacting M&A activity. To ensure that they were able to answer the questions provided, all respondents in both surveys said that they had an appetite for M&A.
