In the current climate where legal teams are facing ongoing operational and cost pressures, General Counsel are, now more than ever, interested in innovative ways to meet the demand for strategic advice and specialist knowledge within a cost-efficient framework. The combined Eversheds Sutherland and Konexo model, which leverages Eversheds Sutherland’s global specialist teams and Konexo’s delivery capabilities, meets this demand. To bring this to life, we have provided details of a couple of projects we have worked on together.
The first project was for an international airline and involved remediating 4,500 data protection obligations in response to changes in data protection legislation across multiple jurisdictions. Eversheds Sutherland provided specialist data protection advice, while the Konexo team handled the review, drafting and negotiation using a playbook designed by the Eversheds Sutherland team. The client benefitted from the right blend of resources, timely project management and valuable progress reporting.
For the second project, the teams partnered on a due diligence exercise of over 1,000 critical technology assets and the underlying intellectual property (IP) rights for a global bank. Konexo’s team of consultants performed the due diligence exercise based on playbooks and reporting templates created by Eversheds Sutherland. This collaboration delivered a unique, cost effective solution for the client.

The collection of real-time project data allows clients to evaluate outcomes, report to stakeholders and make informed decisions swiftly.
