We strive to deliver market leading ESG events, insights and thought leadership and are regularly published in leading publications internationally.
During COP27 in November 2022, we provided extensive thought-leadership for clients, including insight videos from our experts in the lead up to COP27 and daily updates from the conference covering a broad range of topics including finance, decarbonisation, biodiversity and energy.
In May 2023, we launched Diversidata, which is a powerful international diversity data solution which enables our clients to gain greater insights into the diversity characteristics of their workforce. Using the tool, clients can select up to 16 types of diversity data across up to 27 jurisdictions to receive tailored advice to complement and drive their diversity and inclusion strategy.
In February 2023, we hosted the Legal 500’s Green Summit at our London office. The summit brought together leading practitioners and in-house counsel in the UK to discuss the legal sector’s engagement with sustainability and a green and just transition. See here for the event report.
In June 2023, we launched our Sustainable Finance App. The App can be downloaded from the App Store and the Play Store. It covers (i) news, podcasts and transaction information, (ii) a product finder tool that allows you to identify the right type of sustainable finance products based on your specific needs, and (iii) a ‘digital pocket handbook’ that includes a glossary of over 100 key sustainable finance terms.
In support of our charity partner WaterAid, Diane Gilhooley facilitated the ninth instalment of WaterAid Presents, which took place in June 2023. WaterAid Presents is a speaker series which engages a business audience with emerging sustainability trends impacting the private and third sector. The session consisted of an expert panel focused on Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing, and the role of businesses in strengthening global health security. The panellists included Nicky Amos (Managing Director, Chronos Sustainability Ltd), Professor Dame Sally Davies (UK Special Envoy on Antimicrobial Resistance), Helen Hamilton (Senior Policy Analyst - Health & Hygiene at WaterAid), Joy Newton (Associate Director of Sustainability and ESG, Multinational Bank), and Fiona Smith-Laittan (VP Global Health, GSK).
